International Imaging Materials (IIMAK) has released NETFlex+, a new near-edge wax-resin ribbon for thermal transfer overprinting. The ribbon has been developed to be an OEM-compatible, drop in replacement for the most common printers in the market including Videojet and Markem. 

NETFlex+ produces prints at speeds up to 1000mm/sec (40ips) and has been engineered with a thin coating, allowing it to match most OEM lengths. 

According to product testing, NETFlex+ performs well at ambient and cold temperatures and prints on a variety of substrates, from rough to smooth stock. Target applications include snack foods, fresh cut produce, fractional coffee packs and meat packaging, including chub packs, among others.
